Job summary

Laboratory Medicine Consultants LTD in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a full-time histology technician. The role involves preparing tissue for microscopic examination, embedding, cutting, staining, and mounting, with immunohistochemistry support as directed by a Pathologist.

The position offers 2:00 PM–10:30 PM hours, Monday–Friday, with full benefits, Paid Time Off, and retirement plan options. Prior lab experience and PHI confidentiality are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution or equivalent under CLIA high complexity testing.
• Education must include 24 semester hours of MLS/Science with chemistry/biology requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares tissue sections for microscopic examination using grossing, embedding, sectioning, staining and mounting techniques.
• Performs recuts and additional stains including immunohistochemistry as requested by a Pathologist.
