Job summary

Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories is seeking a Histology Technician I or II for a Full-Time position on the 2nd shift in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves performing routine and advanced procedures on patient tissue specimens and maintaining laboratory instruments while training new staff.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician program within 5 years prior to application.
• At least 60 semester hours of academic credit with biology and chemistry.
• Full-time experience in a histopathology laboratory within the last ten years is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special procedures on tissue specimens.
• Maintain accuracy when accessioning specimens.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments according to established protocols.
