Qualifications

• Certification as a Histology Technician is preferred; no experience required if certified.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred if not certified.
• Special ability to perceive 3-D and geometric relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/process histology and cytology specimens according to established procedures.
• Analyze quality control material and record results.
• Transcribe patient information into the laboratory information system.
