Job summary

Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories is hiring for a Medical Lab Scientist, Lab Technician, or Non-Certified Tech for the hematology team. The role is full time on the 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:00 am) in Milwaukee, WI, with 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include performing waived to high complexity testing, ensuring accuracy, training staff, and maintaining instrument systems while upholding quality controls and safety standards.

Qualifications

• MLT or MLS degree requirement and clinical laboratory training.
• Certification eligibility within 12 months of hire/promotion.
• Ability to perform waived to high complexity testing with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate and high complexity testing on patient specimens.
• Maintain quality control procedures and verify results.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments; document maintenance.
• Train students and staff; participate in continued education.
• Communicate issues to leadership and ensure timely reporting.
