Job summary

Allied Search Partners is seeking a Permanent Lead Histotechnologist to prepare surgical specimens for histology, perform tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and quality maintenance of instruments. Under a board-certified pathologist, you will assist with gross examination and may prepare tissue for research.

The role requires strong specimen evaluation, correlation with clinical history, and capability to handle diverse case material in a high-volume diagnostic setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of college-level coursework in biology and chemistry is preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Histotechnician/Histotechnology program is highly considered.
• ASCP HT/HTL certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical specimens for histologic examination including processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining.
• Assist with gross examination under supervision of a board-certified pathologist.
• Provide CAP oversight responsibilities to ensure regulatory compliance; not a supervisor.
