Job summary

Zunch Staffing is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee technical and non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations to meet organizational and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology with at least five years as a Medical Technologist in acute care; a Histology supervisor license is preferred or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology required.
• 5 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist in acute care settings.
• State Supervisor License in Histology preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory personnel and daily operations to meet standards.
• Oversee processes, service levels, and regulatory compliance.
• Achieve departmental goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and motivation to staff.
• Review and approve payroll, purchasing, and scheduling requests.
