Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a histotechnologist or in a histology laboratory setting.
• Associate degree in medical laboratory science or related field.
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and quality assurance policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade department equipment and procedures.
• Perform tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and sectioning.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to histology staff; train new employees and students.

• Adhere to safety policies and PPE usage; assist in regulatory compliance.
