Job summary

You will perform accurate tests, manage records, and support the department in the supervisor's absence, ensuring timely results and quality control across core analyzers.

The role calls for an associate degree, Florida licensure, and preferred experience as a generalist in Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, or Microbiology.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical technology is required.
• Bachelor's degree in medical technology preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of MT experience preferred.
• Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain during interview.
• Generalist preferred across Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing following protocol.
• Assume department oversight in supervisor's absence.
• Complete records and documentation for patient results.
• Perform stat procedures within turnaround time targets.
• Use independent judgment in interpretation of results and delta checks.
