Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. in Philadelphia is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise medical technologists and technicians, and ensure testing accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate staff activities, train employees, manage schedules, participate in budget planning, and serve as liaison between clinical staff and the laboratory. The role requires a strong technical background in medical laboratory science and leadership experience

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in medical technology or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; supervisory experience encouraged.
• CP-BC certification is an asset.
• Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and supervision of technical staff in the laboratory.
• Appraises performance, provides feedback, and handles hiring/discipline as needed.
• Ensures accuracy of bench testing and quality control per standards.
