Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee technical staff and ensure high-quality patient testing. The role coordinates daily operations, provides mentoring, and maintains regulatory compliance across the laboratory.

The position requires an Associate’s in Medical Technology (Bachelor’s preferred) with 7 years lab experience and 1 year supervisory exposure. CP-BC is preferred. Turnersville, NJ location with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Medical Technology or related field is required.
• Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology or related field is preferred.
• 7 years related experience in a medical laboratory setting is required.
• 1 year supervisory experience is preferred.
• CP-BC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily operations and staff in laboratory sections.
• Oversees performance appraisal and provides feedback.
• Trains employees and manages work assignments and scheduling.
• Ensures regulatory compliance (TJC, CAP, OSHA, DOH, FDA).
• Develops and maintains quality control and QC programs.
• Assists in budget preparation and cost control.
