Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field as required.
• Current licensure as required by the state where services will be provided (WV: HCTP, Cytotechnologist, Histotechnologist).
• Four years of experience as a Medical Technologist/MLT/Histotechnologist/Cytotechnologist.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lab areas and ensure appropriate staffing.
• Assist with staff orientation and performance appraisals.
• Coordinate reference laboratory specimens and timely results.
• Coordinate downtime activities with LIS and technical staff.
• Operate and supervise laboratory equipment per SOPs and prepare specimens.
• Contribute to development or revision of SOPs and policies.
