Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh are seeking a Lab Supervisor to lead the Histology/Cytology lab operations. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, and ensure timely processing of tissue samples for pathology.

The role requires 2–5 years of Histology/Pathology experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a physical/life science, with leadership responsibilities and safety compliance as priorities.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years Histology/Pathology experience.
• Leadership experience preferred, not required.
• CT-ASCP or equiv certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise histology/cytology staff and development; manage daily operations.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, QA/QC, and workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely test processing.
• Maintain supply levels and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
