Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college courses in science preferred.
• Experience or training in histopathology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare histopathology slides under supervision following policies and procedures.
• Receive, label, and prepare tissue specimens for dissection.
• Process accessioning and reporting paperwork.
• Monitor and stock laboratory supplies; maintain workspace and equipment.
• Perform coverslipping of stained slides manually and automated.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information; follow safety policies.
