Job summary

Avantik is seeking Field Service Engineers to service histology laboratory equipment at customer sites across the assigned region. You will perform emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and on-site diagnostics per Avantik standards while coordinating with the Service Coordinator.

The role requires travel (car provided), the ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong verbal and written communication. A team-oriented, hands-on problem solver with basic PC skills is ideal; background in mechanical

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations (car provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance per Avantik standards.
• Coordinate with the Service Coordinator on schedules and ETA.
• Evaluate client labs for additional service opportunities.
• Compile service reports and ensure documentation is complete.
