Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Case Manager to join our legal support team. This vital role involves managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring efficient case progression, accurate documentation, and effective communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of personal injury law alongside strong organizational and legal research skills. Duties

• Coordinate all aspects of personal injury cases, including initial client intake, case evaluation, and ongoing case management.
• Gather and review medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documentation to support case development.
• Maintain detailed case files using legal case management systems such as PCLaw and iManage, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather information, and explain legal processes.
• Collaborate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel to facilitate settlement negotiations or trial preparations.
• Conduct legal research on procedural law, civil litigation support, and relevant statutes to inform case strategies.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, settlement agreements, and reports with precision and clarity.
• Manage deadlines for filings and court appearances in compliance with procedural law requirements.
• Utilize research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather pertinent case law and legal precedents.
• Support administrative tasks including data entry, document review, proofreading, and maintaining organized client records.
• Assist with billing processes using legal support software like PCLaw while ensuring accuracy in timekeeping and expense tracking.
• Handle confidential information responsibly while adhering to professional standards of privacy.

Skills
