Job summary

ESS hires coordinators to deliver top-tier service to applicants and partners with Account Managers to process large volumes of candidates for substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff in Luzerne Intermediate Unit.

Applicants move smoothly through the hiring pipeline, with logistics for interviews and trainings coordinated by the Hiring Coordinator. The role includes credentialing support, payroll data entry, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of HR/staffing experience.
• Knowledge of the onboarding process.
• Must interact well with others.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional quality service to new applicants throughout the hiring process.
• Move applicants through the hiring pipeline in a timely manner to accept assignments.
• Manage communication with candidates including interview logistics and training.
• Assist candidates with credentialing, clearances, and new hire paperwork.
• Enter new employee information into payroll systems (tax, direct deposit).
• Audit onboarding documents and guide candidates through credentialing.
• Provide administrative support to Recruiters and District Manager.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Collaborate with team to maintain excellent working relations.
