Job summary

Innovaccer Inc. in the United States is seeking a Scheduling Specialist who assists patients by determining need, confirming provider availability, and scheduling appointments in Athena using best practice workflow.

You will triage calls from patients, collect demographics, input appointment details, track openings and cancellations, and respond graciously to inquiries, delivering professional customer service in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume call center environment.
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry.
• Professional and courteous caller interactions.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

About the Role

Assists patients by determining need, determination of provider availability and scheduling appointments in Athena using best practice workflow.

A Day in the Life

• Ability to effectively triage calls from patients to ensure appropriate schedule.
• Collect patient demographics required to set up an appointment in scheduler.
• Schedules and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler. Records when appointments have been filled or canceled.
• Answers telephone and either responds to the inquiry or directs caller to appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Need

• Experience working in a high volume call center environment
• Great attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Ability to handle all calls in a professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner
• Excellent and professional customer service skills
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
• Experience level: 3+ years.
