Qualifications

• RHIT certification preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and information governance.

Responsibilities

• Validate and grant proxy access to MyChart following strict compliance protocols.
• Review and interpret legal documents to assign guardianship or parental rights flags.
• Process and authorize requests via MyChart ensuring HIPAA-compliant authorizations.
• Analyze court orders and determine appropriate release actions.
• Identify and retrieve documentation from paper and electronic medical records for specialized requests.
• Coordinate billing for medical record requests and chart orders across locations.
