Job summary

Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ, is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to serve as SME on corporate compliance, HIPAA privacy, AI governance, and health information exchange oversight across VHS and affiliated entities.

You will lead the implementation and ongoing evaluation of the compliance program, conduct audits, develop policies, deliver education to clinicians and staff, and liaise with regulators and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 4 years healthcare compliance auditing experience.
• Experience with physician documentation and reimbursement.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on corporate compliance, HIPAA privacy, AI governance, and health information exchange oversight.
• Develop and maintain organizational policy, conduct audits and assessments.
• Deliver compliance education to clinicians, staff, and leadership.
• Interface with regulators and advise leadership on regulatory and technology risk.
