Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a System Manager - HIM-Medical Records to lead health information management across the Southwest region. The role supports education, policy development, and emergency preparedness, ensuring compliant and efficient record-keeping practices.

The position requires RHIA/RHIT certification, a Bachelor's in HIM, and 3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare information management, with California driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management required.
• Master's degree in Health Information Management preferred.
• Five to seven years in Health Information Management with focus on training, quality and record management.
• Minimum 3 years leadership in Health Information Management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates across the Region with staff to manage HIM operations.
• Supports Emergency Preparedness drills and educational activities.
• Develops, reviews, and revises departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensures equipment and supplies to maintain quality and service delivery.
• Identify and address unsafe conditions and equipment issues promptly.
