• Answer inbound calls and assist patients, providers, and requestors with HIM inquiries.
• Retrieve voicemail messages promptly.
• Verify patient identity and demographics for accuracy.
• Obtain verbal authorizations per procedures and HIPAA.
• Navigate EMR/EHR systems to manage information.
• Support ROI requests and related workflows.
• Assist with radiology image-sharing requests.
• Document calls, authorizations, and records accurately.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Assist with additional HIM and admin tasks.
• Support a large-scale EMR transition project.
