Job summary

Weiser Memorial Hospital is seeking a HIM Supervisor to coordinate daily Health Information Management activities and ensure compliant informatics processes. The role involves reviewing work queues, monitoring metrics, and assisting the director with budget planning and staff recruitment. The ideal candidate will have an A.A./A.S.

in a related field or 5 years of Revenue Cycle experience, with preferred consideration for a B.S./B.A. and RHIA/RHIT credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum A.A./A.S. in Business, HIM, or related area or 5 years Revenue Cycle experience may substitute for degree.
• B.S./B.A. in HIM or related field preferred; RHIA/RHIT credentials beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily Health Information Management activities.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal laws in informatics processes.
• Review queues, track workflow metrics, and optimize throughput.
• Assist department director with budget planning, staff recruitment, and policy enforcement.
• Provide guidance to staff and foster a culture of inclusion and service.
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and documentation requirements.
