You will work with staff and patients to ensure timely, accurate handling of confidential health information, following Joint Commission guidelines and state/federal regulations. Responsibilities include processing requests for release of information, scanning and indexing records, maintaining electronic and paper files, and upholding HIPAA and PHI protections.

Qualifikationen

• Typing skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to file alphabetically and numerically; computer experience mandatory.
• Knowledge of PHI and HIPAA is required or preferred.

• Process walk-in requests and assist with release of information.
