Job summary

TriState Health in Clarkston, WA is seeking a dedicated Release of Information Clerk to process requests in a hybrid environment. You will assist patients and authorized representatives with accurate completion of Authorization to Release Information forms, maintain privacy, and support HIM staff as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two-year Medical Records program preferred.
• Two years provider office experience preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and authorized representatives with accurate completion of Authorization to Release Information forms.
• Assist in answering release of information questions and provide guidance to staff.
• Maintain security of medical records to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Assist in covering other HIM duties as needed, such as Switchboard Operator.
