Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is seeking a Health Information Associate to ensure accurate receipt, processing, and scanning of medical records to support patient care and revenue management.

The role requires basic computer skills and attention to detail; prior experience with medical records and HIM software is preferred. You will perform clerical tasks in the HIM department and support performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience with medical records and technology preferred.

Responsabilités

• Medical Records Management: Ensure records are received, processed, and scanned accurately and promptly.
• Information Processing: Process scanned medical records using HIM software, verify information, and enter missing data.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor metrics to ensure quality, productivity, and standard work.
• Resource Utilization: Use Document Management System (DMS) and other resources.
• All other duties as assigned.
