R1 RCM Inc. in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Health Information Management Manager to oversee daily HIM operations across assigned facilities, driving accuracy, compliance, and productivity.

You will lead staff, manage documentation integrity, release of information, and amendment requests while leveraging technology to improve workflows. The role requires at least four years in HIM, with two in a leadership position, RHIA or RHIT certification, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HIM experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
• RHIA or RHIT certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approach.
• Ability to travel between assigned sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HIM operations across assigned facilities, ensuring accurate documentation and compliant processes.
• Lead HIM staff through hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Drive consistency in HIM tools, processes, and best practices across sites.
• Collaborate with leadership, physicians, and staff to address documentation gaps and improve record completion.
• Monitor KPIs and support regulatory reviews, accreditation readiness, and compliance.
