Carolinas Medical Center seeks a data integrity specialist to monitor identity management and EMR data quality. You will perform patient merges and demographic updates in Epic, while coordinating with HIT, Revenue Cycle, and clinical leaders to keep the MPI synchronized and accurate.

The role requires strong EHR knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment on a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent healthcare experience.
• Less than 2 years in healthcare; experience in Revenue Cycle or Healthcare IT preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, data integrity, and clinical/administrative workflows.

Responsabilités

• Monitor identity and data integrity work queues and investigate errors in the EMR ecosystem.
• Perform patient merges, data loads, and demographic updates in Epic and MPI systems.
• Utilize ServiceNow and other tools to track tickets and communicate with stakeholders.
• Prioritize requests, ensure patient safety, and support clinicians with data accuracy.
• Collaborate across HIT, Clinical Informatics, Revenue Cycle, and leaders to improve workflows.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect PHI while contributing to system-wide initiatives.
