Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Melville, NY is seeking an HIM Data Coordinator to oversee EMPI integrity, chart corrections, and prepare medical records for insurance audits. The ideal candidate will hold at least an Associate Degree, preferably a Bachelor's, and possess strong communication and computer skills, particularly in electronic health record systems and Excel. The position offers a salary range of $26.00 - $30.00 per hour along with comprehensive benefits and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational level of Associate Degree.
• 2 or more years of similar previous hospital experience preferred.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for EMPI integrity/Chart Correction.
• Prepares Medical Records for insurance audits.
• Coordinates Master Patient Index corrections.

Skills

Excellent communication skills
