Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Health Information Management Tech II to process, analyze, and ensure completeness of medical records. This 100% remote role requires strong data analysis, attention to detail, and collaboration with clinical staff to respond to information release requests.

The position supports timely completion of records, maintenance of EMR integrity, and ongoing process improvements within HIM. RHIT/RHIA eligibility and relevant experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant HIM/records experience.
• Associate's degree in Health Information Tech/Management.
• RHIT or RHIA certification, or eligible with six months to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Process, analyze, and ensure completeness of medical records within required timeframes.
• Maintain EMR integrity through data analysis, review, and reporting.
• Respond to requests for release of medical information per guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to identify and solve workflow issues and improve processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
