Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to transport incoming freight to inventory, operate in a multi-temperature warehouse, and ensure GMP and safety standards are met.

You will stack and replenish pick slots, inspect items, enter data into RF unit, and support backhaul operations while adhering to shift schedules. Prior warehouse experience and ability to lift up to 90 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds repeatedly and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Overtime hours may vary by location.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and keep work area safe and clean.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move freight.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature/quality checks.
• Enter product data into RF unit and locate proper slots.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock as needed.
• Rotate stock and manage dated inventory.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and secure equipment.
• Backup backhaul receiver as required.
