Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a TEST TECHNICIAN (STARLINK) to develop and maintain test infrastructure supporting rapid integration testing of Starlink systems. You will process test requests, rework satellites when needed, and assist engineers during campaigns.

The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting schematics, independent problem solving, and strong attention to detail. Physical lifting up to 25 lbs and shift work including overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years in production/manufacturing or test environments.
• Able to read engineering blueprints and complete basic math.
• Able to read and interpret fluid and/or electrical schematics.
• Able to work independently and problem-solve efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to provide constructive feedback to engineering and production teams to improve test system infrastructure, designs, processes, and parts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized workspace.
• Proficient computer skills; comfortable using email and Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using CAD to design basic parts.

Responsibilities

• Action test requests and satellite rework.
• Provide general support to engineers and specialists during test campaigns.
• Perform equipment operations using cranes, powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment, forklifts, boom lifts, and/or scissor lifts around our facilities.
