Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA, is seeking an Automation and Test Engineer for Satellites (Starlink). You will design, build and run test platforms to validate Starlink software, using HITL, HIL, and virtualized hardware simulations.

You’ll develop tools to enable frequent software deployment, data analysis, and rapid testing across environments. You will work with developers to ensure a reliable, fast, accurate integrated test platform and perform hands-on integration and troubleshooting of Starlink

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, engineering, math or STEM with 1+ years in test systems or 3+ years without a degree.
• Development experience in C, C++, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and build test platforms to validate Starlink software.
• Develop software for HITL, HIL and virtualized hardware simulations.
• Create tools for frequent, reliable deployment and data analysis within CI/CD.
• Analyze results and investigate bugs with engineers across teams.
• Collaborate with developers to provide a robust integrated test platform.
• Hands-on integration and troubleshooting of Starlink hardware/software.
