Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Software Engineer for the HIL Platform and Services Team within the GM Autonomous Vehicle organization. You will work at the intersection of AV software, AI models, and the hardware systems that enable vehicle autonomy.

This hybrid role involves developing software to approximate high-fidelity testing capabilities, delivering reliable code through CI, testing, and cross-team collaboration as GM advances its next-generation AV platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience writing production-quality software.
• Experience with Python and C++ in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with design of high-performant software components.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to increase capabilities, fidelity, observability and scale of the HIL Platform and Integration services.
• Deliver reliable software through requirements generation, CI, automated testing, issue tracking and code reviews.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams.
• Deliver complex projects through incremental development.
