Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an engineer to develop software for the HIL Platform and integration services in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on building reliable, high-performance software across Linux environments and tightly integrating with AV hardware and AI models.

Candidates should have 2+ years of production-quality software experience, strong Python/C++ skills, and a solid understanding of real-time systems.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience writing production-quality software.
Strong system fundamentals and coding abilities in Python and C++.
Understanding of how to design high-performant software components.
Experience developing in a Linux environment.
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Preferred: Experience optimizing and/or evaluating complex software systems on dedicated hardware.
Preferred: Experience with ROS architectures.
Preferred: Experience with low-latency or real-time systems.
Preferred: Experience in the AV industry.
Preferred: Experience with SQL.
Preferred: Working experience with large build systems such as Bazel.
