Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking STUDIO RED Coaches to lead high-energy HIIT workouts and deliver an exceptional member experience. You will demonstrate proper form, support modifications, and engage participants in a friendly, motivating environment.

This role requires group fitness experience, current certifications, CPR/AED, and a passion for helping others achieve their goals. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits accompany joining a Great Place to Work certified team.

Qualifications

• Year of experience in personal training, small group training and/or group fitness training.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Experience leading, communicating, coaching, teaching, or facilitating a group.
• General knowledge of kinesiology or exercise science.
• Strong multitasking skills.
• Passionate about fitness and helping others reach goals.
• Energetic, positive attitude.
• Promotes upbeat, high-energy environment while coaching.
• Minimum local travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and prepared, room set up and members greeted at the door to start class on time.
• Safely demonstrate exercises with modifications and ensure safety of participants.
• Be approachable, professional, enthusiastic, and engaging.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing member needs and concerns.
• Move around the room, coaching and motivating for the entire workout.
• Recommend relevant VASA Fitness products and amenities as needed.
• Invite non-STUDIO members to attend STUDIO RED classes to grow membership.
• Coach to individuals at their fitness level, providing modifications as needed.
• Monitor effort and encourage participants using Myzone technology.
• Complete post-class procedures: cleaning, sanitizing, organizing.
