Job summary
VASA Fitness in Colorado is seeking STUDIO RED Coaches to deliver high-energy, HIIT workouts and provide an exceptional member experience. Qualified instructors motivate and support members while maintaining a friendly, energetic environment.
We require 1–2 years in personal/group training, a current CPR/AED certification, and a valid fitness certification. Competitive benefits include healthcare for 30+ hours, gym memberships, and a 401k option.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years personal/ small group training or group fitness instruction.
- NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
- Current CPR/AED Certification.
- Experience leading, communicating, coaching, teaching, or facilitating a group of people.
- Knowledge of kinesiology, exercise science, physical fitness.
Responsibilities
- Be punctual and prepared, greet members at the door and start class on time.
- Safely demonstrate exercises with modifications and correct form.
- Be approachable, professional, enthusiastic, and engaging.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing member needs and concerns.
- Lead and motivate members throughout the entire workout.
- Recommend relevant VASA Fitness products and amenities to meet members' needs.
- Invite non-members to attend STUDIO RED classes to grow membership.
- Coach to individuals at their fitness level with appropriate modifications.
- Monitor effort and encourage participants using Myzone technology.
- Stay organized, positive, and communicative.
