Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with customers.
• Ability to interpret utility and highway plans and to prepare cost estimates.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and federal/state policies related to utility relocations.

Responsibilities

• Billing Processing: Verify accuracy of utility progress bills and final bills and analyze cost differences.
• Utility Coordination: Participate in field reviews, inspections and meetings to provide technical assistance and resolve design problems.
• Utility Cost Estimate: Prepare utility cost estimates for highway projects from design to plan approval using PCES software.
• Utility Field Inspection: Conduct field inspections, interpret plans, determine easement needs and verify permit requirements.
