Job summary

STV, Inc. in Asheville, NC is seeking a Utility Coordinator to oversee utility coordination and relocations for NCDOT programs. The role focuses on identifying conflicts and managing relocations before construction contracts commence.

You will develop relocation strategies, interpret plans and regulations, coordinate meetings with DOT and utility owners, and QA/QC relocation packages. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience required.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of utility relocation processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop utility relocations strategies and coordinate removal/relocation/modification of utilities.
• Interpret highway plans and specifications to identify utility impacts.
• Coordinate meetings with NCDOT, utility owners, and contractors; prepare agendas/minutes.
• Perform QA/QC of relocation packages and prepare related plans in MicroStation.
• Utilize MS Office tools for documentation and communication.
• Attend field meetings and site investigations as required.
