Job summary

WSB is a design and consulting firm specializing in Transportation, Community Planning, Environmental, Energy, Municipal, and Construction services. We provide solutions for the places, spaces and systems that support our lives.

We offer services in more than 50 complementary areas across the nation. The Record Keeper is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and maintaining highway construction project documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of TxDOT records-keeping experience.
• Previous experience in highway construction inspection or supporting architects/engineers preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
• Knowledge of SiteManager, Synchro, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and BlueBeam Revu preferred.
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment.
• Must be able to work onsite at a WSB office, as needed, up to five days per week, as required by the project, client, or hiring manager.
• Travel or field visits may be required to support project needs or stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review, audit, and maintain highway construction records and client documents.
• Develop, review, and modify contract documents to reflect changes to original agreements.
• Monitor records for compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Prepare monthly estimates for contractors and verify payment of completed work.
• Audit records for compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Provide final construction records and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors and project managers to resolve conflicts and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• May remain stationary for extended periods.
• Travel may be required.
