Job summary

Qualifications

• Follow oral and written instructions, read and interpret work plans and specifications.
• Ability to obtain CDL and DOT medical card within 11 months of employment and maintain thereafter.
• Experience performing heavy manual labor.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding traffic control devices.
• Safety shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency roadway operations, snow/ice removal, and debris clearance.
• Operate and maintain light, medium and heavy highway equipment.
• Install and maintain pavement markings and traffic control devices in accordance with MUTCD and state guidelines.
• Participate as a crew member to complete projects and maintenance tasks.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure safety compliance at all times.
