Job summary

State of Ohio is seeking highway maintenance workers to serve the public and keep Ohio roads safer. You will perform flagging, pothole patching, guardrail repairs, litter pickup, mowing, and snow and ice operations, contributing to reliable, well‑maintained highways.

Qualifications

• 3 months training or 3 months experience in operation of basic equipment.
• Ability to read, write and speak common English vocabulary.
• Valid Class B CDL with tanker endorsement, without airbrake restriction.

Responsibilities

• You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.
• You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing.
• You will perform snow & ice operations.
