Job summary

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain highway equipment and facilities along the I-77 Express Lanes corridor between uptown Charlotte and Mooresville. You will work with Maintenance Supervisors and may supervise others, guiding less experienced staff as needed.

Responsibilities include operating tractors, mowers, sweepers, bucket trucks, and TMA units; inspecting and repairing equipment; performing general maintenance and building tasks; and

Qualifications

• CDL required or able to obtain within 180 days.
• 1–3 years roadway maintenance experience or college equivalent.
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as tractors, mowers, sweepers, bucket trucks and TMA's.
• Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Perform roadway/pavement repairs, landscaping and related tasks.
• Assist with traffic control and incident response as needed.
• Train less experienced personnel on equipment operation.
• Respond to roadside incidents and provide assistance.
• Maintain buildings and perform facility maintenance.
