Job summary

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain project equipment, transport material, and support highway maintenance on the I-77 Express Lanes in North Carolina.

You will work with maintenance staff, assist in building upkeep and traffic control, and may supervise others. CDL Class B/A or ability to obtain one within 180 days is required; 1–3 years roadway maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B or A or ability to obtain one within 180 days of employment.
• 1–3 years of roadway maintenance experience or college equivalent.
• Ability to train less experienced personnel and work with maintenance teams.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work alternate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate automotive and maintenance equipment (tractors, mowers, sweepers, bucket trucks, TMA’s) per daily assignments.
• Inspect equipment, perform minor repairs, lubricate, and assist in repairs.
• Perform miscellaneous skilled maintenance on the I-77 Express Lanes Project.
• Support traffic control, pavement repair, landscaping, painting, and building maintenance.
• Respond to incidents, provide roadside assistance, and be on-call for emergencies.
• Train and guide less experienced personnel in equipment operation and roadway maintenance.
• Maintain safety standards and coordinate with supervisors on task delegation.
