Job summary

District 8 is seeking a Maintenance Aide I to support highway preservation and grounds maintenance in Russellville, AR. The role involves operating a truck, mowing equipment and related hand tools, as well as loading materials and assisting with traffic control.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a single-axle dump truck and tractor with mowing attachments.
• Mow grass and perform landscape maintenance along highway right‑of‑ways.
• Load, unload and stack materials such as salt, sand, cement and chemicals.
• Flag traffic and assist with setting up signs and cones for work zones.
