Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate a single-axle dump truck and tractor with mowing equipment.
• Mow grass and maintain highway rights‑of‑way and facilities using large tractors and gang mowers.
• Perform landscape maintenance and tree cutting with power tools and hand tools.
• Load, unload, and stack salt, sand, cement, chemicals, etc.
• Flag traffic and assist with setting up work zones and cones.
• Respond to emergencies 24/7 and during ice/snow operations.
• Perform routine equipment servicing and preventative maintenance.
