Job description

Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Maintenance Technicians in the Orlando, FL area. The role involves performing highway maintenance tasks and adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform highway mowing operations, including using small and large machines, tractors, and mowing decks.
2. Weed eating and litter removal, utilizing appropriate tools.
3. Participate in on-call rotation for highway maintenance when required.

Preferred Experience:

• Roadway maintenance experience
• Small machine mowing
• Mowing and weed control
• MOT Certifications

Note: A clean driving record and passing a criminal background check are essential.

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass background checks and drug testing
• Knowledge of local driving rules
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Ability to use smartphones and applications
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and weather conditions
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and operating hand/power tools

Compensation and Schedule:

• Hourly wage: $16-$20, based on experience
• Full-time, with on-call flexibility
