Qualifications

• Formal education in arithmetic including addition, subtraction, and decimals; ability to read, write and speak common English vocabulary.
• 3 months training or 3 months experience in operation of basic equipment.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License at the appropriate level to operate motorized equipment as per position description.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic equipment and perform general highway maintenance duties varying by season.
• Perform snow and ice control using plow, spreader, and related equipment.
• Maintain and repair signs, pavement markings, guardrails, drainage, and mowing/vegetation tasks.
