Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking a Highway Maintenance Technician 1 to support maintenance of state highways and related tasks in Franklin County, Carnesville. The role includes operating light vehicles, building traffic control devices, and completing required paperwork, with on‑the‑job MSD training and a strong focus on safety.

The position offers a 40‑hour work week with benefits, and eligibility for 13 paid holidays and paid leave.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Mansioni

• Maintain state highways and rights‑of‑way.
• Install traffic control devices.
• Operate light vehicles and equipment.

• Respond to emergency needs outside normal hours.
