Job summary

Chrysalis Enterprises seeks a Crew Supervisor to direct and supervise maintenance work crews under CE's contract with city, state and county agencies. The role partners with Caltrans personnel to ensure safe, timely execution of work on California State Highways/Right of Ways.

The ideal candidate will lead teams, coach transitional employees, monitor safety procedures, maintain equipment, and uphold Chrysalis policies while delivering strong customer service and collaborating with management.

Qualifications

• Have a valid Class C driver27s license and the ability to qualify for Chrysalis Enterprises insurance coverage.
• Ability to pass written and field driver screening and follow detailed instructions, including navigating to specific geographic locations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills and evidence of a strong work history.
• A willingness and desire to mentor the CE worker population and support the CE transitional jobs program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on feet throughout shift.
• Demonstrated high levels of quality assurance and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Direct, work hands-on with, supervise and manage maintenance crews.
• Train and coach employees on job duties, equipment, and safety.
• Mentor CE transitional employees and support transition program implementation.
• Ensure work scope is executed safely, professionally and timely.
• Maintain customer and stakeholder relations with tact and diplomacy.
• Oversee clock-in/clock-out procedures and labor law compliance.
• Coordinate with CE Management on issues and policy enforcement.
