Job summary

Chrysalis Center Inc in Los Angeles seeks a Full Time Crew Supervisor to direct and mentor a maintenance crew working under Caltrans contracts. You will lead daily operations, ensure safety, manage client relations, and coordinate reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, overseeing attendance, equipment maintenance, and ensuring timely project delivery while upholding Chrysalis Enterprises policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Has a valid Class C driver’s license.
• Able to pass written and field driver screening.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to mentor the CE worker population and support the CE transitional jobs program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on feet during shift.
• Demonstrated high levels of quality assurance and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise maintenance work crews on Caltrans projects.
• Coach employees on duties, safety, and performance; mentor CE transitional employees.
• Oversee clock-in and clock-out procedures for CE transitional employees.
• Maintain vehicle, trailer, equipment, uniforms and PPE in clean, working order.
• Ensure high level of customer service per contractual obligations and manage client relations.
• Submit maintenance tracking and vehicle inspection reports.
• Attend monthly meetings and trainings; adhere to Chrysalis policies and procedures.
• Oversee safety briefings and daily quality inspections of vehicles and machinery.
